Prada Vitello Shine Hobo

Prada has always been designing there bags with a difference and such a case with this Prada Vitello Shine Hobo, and I’m pretty pleased with it.

Odd thing ‘bout this is that it is in gorgeous purple color which is making me more enthusiastic than I would, but color is such an important part of a bag’s personality that I’m completely okay with that. Prada always uses excellent leathers and high-quality construction, so I don’t doubt that the bag will last for quite a long time indeed. The only thing left to consider is the structure: it’s boring, but it’s also highly functional, and the beautiful shade of purple makes up for the simple shape. Considering the price of this bag relative to others in Miuccia’s arsenal, I’m pretty pleased.

Prada Tessuto S Tote

Wow! What a pretty bag. The Prada Tessuto S Tote is, in my mind, it’s totally adorable. It’s frilly and girly but in a somber black nylon that makes it more wearable than if it was, in pink suede. For some reason, it reminds me of flamenco dancers and fun costumes and all sorts of over-the-top femininity, and although its price might be a bit steep for nylon, but that doesn’t matter for a beautiful bag like this.

Prada’s Tessuto bags are known to wear extremely well with anything or to be taken to any ocassion. It features leather and nylon ruffle tote with magnetic closure and plastic and leather handles. Prada jacquard fabric lined interior with leather-trimmed zipper pockets. 11" x 17" x 4.75". 10" handle drop. This particular ultra-femme tote certainly is perfect to go.

Prada St. Pitone Tote

Oh, thank you God, finally. My handbags prayers have been answered. Prada St. Pitone Tote is not my favorite bag that I’ve ever seen, but it’s a strong improvement over the randomly bedazzled bags we’ve seen from the brand lately. This bag is beautifully designed with a bow that gives it an elegant, stylish and a lot more sophisticated look.

The tote takes a cue from their diffusion Miu Miu line’s very successful Bow Satchel with its side adornment, although this tote’s finishing is a little looser and softer. Combine that with a beautiful, large-scale python skin and and some cute top handles, and Prada’s got a great satchel on their hands that will likely sell very well for them.

Prada Vela Small Crossbody Satchel

Here’s the designer bag you can give to your little daughter who wants a designer bag but you never let her. I absolutely adore the Prada Vela Small Crossbody Satchel which offers a cute option for a messenger bag. There is a canvas crossbody strap and a zip top closure. The bag touts a designer name. My parents would have jumped at this opportunity when I was in 7th grade begging for my first designer handbag.

Make her feel special too among her friends let her have this bag and make her own fashion statement. This bag is not just for your daughter but also is perfect to carry it anywhere.

Prada Knot Shoulder Bag

A true feminine touch this bag has holding my attention. And the Prada Knot Shoulder Bag is quite cute. This is not just nylon either; it is designed with smooth leather and sports a gathered top and a large knot detail. The knot could almost pass for a rose or some sort of floral design. The other features is the removable shoulder strap, which means you could easily transition this bag from day to night. The inside is lined in logo fabric and there is a zip pocket. Dimensions are large enough to make the bag usable; 10″ x 6″ x 4.5″. Overall I really do like it. It is alluring but not over the top and feminine but not girly.

Tod’s Happy Cerniera

Fashion designers now are searching for more different designs that are unique in their own way and so to do that they are out hunting for the tribal style! It becomes more than apparenty that Africa has an immense influence on many of the designs we see emerging from major names in the fashion biz. The blend does the works really good, as you can tell by Tod’s “Happy Cerniera“.

This swank handbags show quite possibly the best interpretation of the safari trend. It is cleverly constructed with two open outer compartments, a framed middle compartment with leather trim and silver metal Viennese clasp. The front sports a pocket with suede and smooth leather flap, printed calf hair accent, brushed silver metal padlock and Tod’s signature leather patch. The handbag is like other bags is made in Italia, measures a compact 1.5″ x 7.5″ x 5″. However, you’ll be the coolest cat in the wild with this bag, no doubt.

Red Glamor Brings by the Tod’s Carey Sacca Grande Tote

Here’s a bag that stole my heart and I’m sure must have stolen hearts o many women. The Tod’s Carey Sacca Grande Tote is a beautiful large size everyday tote made from exquisite grained Italian leather. The shape of the bag is a little bit structured with a nice amount of droop which is so in fashion these days.

Expect nothing short of extraordinary with the craftsmanship of this bag; between the fine topstitching and the leather belt around the top of the bag, it is the small things that add a special touch to this bag. Inside you will find an interior magnetic snap closure and fine cotton twill with two additional patch pockets and a zipped leather pouch. I love how Tod’s bags don’t scream out the brand too much to any passerby. Outside you will find a Tod’s logo embossed on a leather patch on side. Like I mentioned earlier, this bag is big enough to be used as an everyday carryall: measuring approximately 15″ x 11″ x 5″. The bag is available in black also, but please be daring and go for the red if you want this bag. This bag is sure to make a statement with the lucky lady who carries it.

Tod’s Hampton Secchiello Media

This shopper is made of black grained leather with tinted edges and brown saddle stitching. The handles offer difference with the option of using the two topstitched leather handles or the removable, long braided rope shoulder strap. You can choose which way you want to carry the bag. Tod’s Boomerang Bag

Simplicity is all that I prefer. I always find the simple understated designs to catch my attention rather than ornate complex designs. The staple designer of understated beautifully handcrafted bags is Tods. The new Tods Boomerang East/West Bag draws attention to the brass oversized logo ring while the soft grained leather body provides sophisticated elegance. Rings attach to the leather shoulder straps and a flap top tucks under the focal ring of the handbag.

Charlotte Piccola-a Tod’s Handbag

I just love this Tod’s Charlotte Piccola handbag because of its unque design which is an easy to carry shoulder bag. Its Futuristic design just gives me the sense of style and gives my personality a boost.

What a fine bag that is. Splendid textured leather exterior combined with an elegant saddle-style topstitching. 13″ x 7″ x 6″ inches of raging elegance and delicate sportiness. The hemispherical exterior zip pockets on each side add a very unique touch that insures that the handbag will never turn into history on you.

Shopping Media D-Bag from Tod’s

Another marvelous creation by Tod’s. This Tod’s bag is a beauty that matches its carrier’s lame and fashion requests. One more elegant bag from Tod’s which is especially perfect for the work place is the Tods Restyled D-Bag Shopping Media. This supple grained leather tote would be able to fit a modern day lap top (dimensions are 15.5″x 11″x 5″) and still has room for two interior zip pockets on the inside. I am a huge fan of silver hardware, and this bag sports just that along with rolled leather handles and an open top. This would make me feel special as I walked to work, despite the fact that there would be 1 million other places I’d rather be

Tod’s Rounded D-Bag

The beauty and quality of Tod’s handbags speaks for itself. Tod’s bags are known for subtly restrained elegance, known for clean lines, known for squeaky clean designs, and brilliant craftsmanship. I am not saying that Tod’s creates every design with an ingenuities thought or direction, but they continue to create handbags that are well-made and show unending beauty.

The shape is classic, the slightly textured calfskin is perfect, and the topstitching gives the perfect finishing touch. The tassels on either side are silver-tipped, which gives off that slight glimmer when you walk gracefully and a passerby’s eye is caught by the bag. But the overall product is simple, even bordering on ordinary. It is that the craftsmanship and beauty transcends over the internet and lets me know that this bag is another sure shot from Tod’s. Measurements are 14″W X 11″H X 5″D. for easy to carryall bag.

Tod’s Tender Softy Bag Off-White

Recently I have fallen in love with the Tod’s Goa Bag and right after fell in love with the Tod’s Softy Bags when I got to feel them and try them on in the stores.

There is a unique but elegant style that Tod’s exudes, nothing too over the top, rather simple designs staying true to the brand and adding the perfect touch each time. The Tod’s Softy Bag features textured soft leather with a braided double handle. There is an inside zipped pocket and dimensions are 15′ W X 11′ H X 3′ D. This bag is the most stay-worthy from Tod’s for the season. Lucky for you it is also marked down at Saks!

Tod’s Piccola Pockets D-Bag

Wow! Another uniquely designed bag from Tod’s. The Tod’s Pockets D-Bag Piccola bag is available in ruby red or black nylon, I would totally opt for the red which packs a little punch. There are double shoulder straps and side leather pulls with three exterior pockets. This bag is the sister to the Tod’s Roxy which Cameron Diaz loves. The dimensions of this bag are large; don’t let them fool you, measuring 14½”W X 12″H X 5″D. If you had a small child or two, this would work to tote their essentials around in for the day. Though if your family is larger and your kids are as needy as I was, you may need a bigger bag.

Kate Winslet With Tod’s Sacca Hobo Completes Her Style

Kate Winslet barely seen in the public eyes is out and about, but she is not making headlines. And I assume this is just the way she likes it. She wants to just wear a loose fitting sweater and jeans and go about her daily life like the rest of ‘us’.

Over the weekend, Kate decided not to go to the Oscars and lay low in New York City. Her bag of choice is the understated Tod’s Took Sacca Hobo in off-white, which is designed with calf skin leather and an adjustable shoulder strap. The handbag worked perfectly as Kate was out about in the City, offering ample room and a loose fit. There are two front flap pockets and one front zip pocket. Dimensions are 13″W X 12″H X 4½”D.

Prada Fairy Bag

In the Prada Spring Handbag line, had a lot to it but our favorite so far has been the whimsical Prada Fairy Bag. The Prada Fairy Bag, has quickly become a hot item which features an artistic drawing of fairies in black, plum, and earth tones on this deerskin handbag.

There are top handles and dimensions are 10 1/5″H x 14 1/5″W x 6″D. What you will not believe is that just two days ago this bag is up for pre-order, and quickly it is no longer available. So they are in real demand and you have to be quick to get hold on to these too.

Prada Small Hobo With Multicolor Stripes

This Prada Stripes Multicolor Small Hobo in the turquoise-violet combination which looked divine and really is of the perfect size. Its really a cool bag to hang out at parties.

The small version adds the right amount of color splash and spunk, while not taking away from the overall outfit or look. The leather is supple Nappa, which is smooth to the touch and perfects to showoff. The top handle and shoulder strap are detachable, but I loved this being carried with the small top handle. Dimensions are 9½”W X 7″H X 3½”D. is perfect to carry at any party and keep handy items easily.

Prada Leopard Calf Hair Large Bowler Bag

I’ve always loved being a Prada Girl and this Prada Leopard Calf Hair Large Bowler Bag has really got me into it. The shape is very simple but is elegant with its animal print, the trim and hardware are almost non existent, and it’s all done in print. It’s not made in smooth leather but the calf hair leather goes perfectly with the design.

It might be having a soft and delicacy look but Prada designers always has kept in mind the toughness required in a bag. And with features such as bottom feet, top stitching and interior lining gives strength to this bag. I think I could use a little calf-hair leopard in my life.

Prada Craquele Tote

The Prada Craquele Tote is a elegant, well-structured and stylish bag with a style so eclectic it is unique by default! As a result, I’m not sure if I’m being more into the Prada Craquele Tote than I would be otherwise. It’s easy to argue that it’s a pretty decent bag when compared to the lines other fall offerings, though.

A deeper look at it shows that Prada has put into this new design a lots of efforts: double handles, removable shoulder strap, zipper closure, inside and outside zipper and snap pockets, signature jacquard lining and metal feet make this unusual-looking bag hard to fault.

The gold studs on the contrast leather that runs along the seams and handles are a well-edited response to the studded trend, and the textured leather is interesting without looking processed as well. It’s not knocking my socks off, but it’s easily my favorite bag of theirs that I’ve seen in a few months.

Prada Spring 2010 Spazzolato Tote

If you are a luxury lover who likes flinging wealth every now and then, have a look on the Prada Spazzolato Tote. Specially designed for spring 2010 collection in patent leather. The Prada Spazzolato Tote might be the best of the bunch.

I’m not sure why anyone thought that it would be a good idea to take patent leather or not but the look surely is unique. In order to entice you more, they’ve taken a fistful of rhinestones and bunched them indifferently at the bag’s closure.

To be fair, the shape isn’t terrible and the bag is lined in leather and features Shiny leather open tote with resin crystals, double handles and a detachable shoulder strap. Also, this bag isn’t see-through like a bunch of the other ones from this particular collection.

Marc Jacobs Safety Pin Clutch

Here’s another lovely clutch from Marc Jacobs. This Marc Jacobs safety pin clutch is very stylish, elegant and one of my favorites. I love this bag because the way that the material is faux-wrapped and then safety pinned in place in the center of the clutch reminds me a lot of a traditional Obi belt, but it’s not so literal and obvious that it will be out of style when the Japanese influence that we’ve been seeing in some parts of fashion lately runs its course.

The safety pin is oversized enough that everyone will notice the clutch’s every little detail, and of course it’s a great way to reference this season’s 80s punk inspirations. I haven’t liked one of Marc’s clutches this much in quite some time.

There’s no limit how and where to carry it, you can carry it casually or at a party it will go perfectly with any outfit of your choice. This is the best thing.

Fresh Heather Clutch of Marc Jacobs

The Marc Jacobs Fresh Heather Clutch caught my eye and I just fell in love for it. Usually, clutches are just my evening events accessory. It is very rare that I carry a clutch during the day. But after the glance of this clutch I thought – hey, why not?

The blue coated cotton clutch has bold goldtone hardware. Open front flap and you will find several pockets for any storage needs you may have. The thing I like the most is Its casual look. It isn’t over the top but it isn’t really that boring either. While I would definitely use it during the day, there are plenty of situations where carrying it at night would be perfect.

Safari Pouchette Bag From Marc Jacobs

This. Bag is a great example of a handbag that I had to write about. We all know that Marc Jacobs is known for exquisite and must-have bags. I admit there are times when I wonder why some of the bags are so in demand but of course there are other times when I know why an Marc Jacobs bag sells out close to instantly. But, this bag is a knock out or a rip off.

The Marc Jacobs Safari Pouchette Bag is a stylish and elegant bag. This bag is definitely not one you see everywhere you look so I have to acknowledge the individuality it possesses. Zebra-print ponyskin has a draw string closure, adorned with tassels, leather flower charms (which I adore) and lined with blue leather.

Marc Jacobs New York Rocker Stam

It seems like Marc Jacobs rose to the occasion. First we got the studded-yet-understated Marc Jacobs Stardust Stam, and now he’s brought us the not-at-all-understated Marc Jacobs New York Rocker Stam. Although I’m not sure that this sequined-n-shiny satchel is best suited to New York – in fact, I think it might be more at home in Las Vegas.

They’re small enough that at a distance, they blend together to form a shimmery, shiny whole instead of a bag covered in sewn-on crap, and the silver, off-center, abstract pattern at the bottom gives the bag a modern edge that helps it avoid the grandma-bag pitfall of multitudinous sequins.

Marc Jacobs Iggy Shoulder Bag

Now this is a surprise. This Marc Jacobs Iggy Shoulder Bag is the fairly sedate chain-link strap. But that’s not the reason I was attracted to this bag, which, I admit, is an all-or-nothing bag, a love-it or hate-it bag.

No, I like it for the unique purple and teal color, which is heightened by the quilted python design. I mostly like the purple color because I am a fan of purple handbags. I also really like when I see brightly-colored bags, because so often bags are in darker colors- bright simply draw your eye to the bag. Plus, isn’t that tiny lock on the front just adorable?

The only complaint I have (about the bag, not the lock) is the length of the chain strap. It’s so short that it seems out of proportion considering the size of the bag. If only it had a little more length, then one would be able to sling it comfortably over the shoulder

Marc Jacobs Wrath Studded Bag

The Marc Jacobs bags has always been my favorite, be they good or bad in the long run. I’ve always thought it a greater sin to be boring than to be over-the-top, and sometimes great style is what happens when you get right on the line between just enough and too much.

We’re all well aware that studs and industrial details are THE trend of the moment, and I can’t help but think that Marc Jacobs is using this bag to poke more than a little fun at all of the metal-covered fashionistas that are starting to hit the streets.

But even when Jacobs does tongue-in-cheek, he does it beautifully. The multicolored, multi-sized studs are attached in swirly lines that cover nearly every inch of the bag. It’s over-the-top, in-your-face, and a host of other hyphenated.

My favorite part, however, is the thick, tough, oversized chain handle. The bag is such a statement that nothing less than a handle like that would be appropriate, and I’m glad that designers still have the nerve to do things that not everyone will understand or enjoy.

Marc Jacobs Fluorescent Tweed Bag

I kind of love the Marc Jacobs Fluorescent Tweed Bag, Il ove the combination of, oddly colored gemstones stuck to it with black fabric, but as usual, I’m buying whatever it is that Marc Jacobs is selling.

Fashion doesn’t always need to be so serious, and often it’s so much more fun when it’s not, which is one of the reasons for my all-consuming love of Lady Gaga. I think she gets it, she infuriates people that don’t, and it’s not a coincidence that she’s also a public fan of Mr. Jacobs. This bag might not be his most practical or classic, but the fact that it exists says good things about the fashion industry.

Marc Jacobs Night In Rio Swarovski-Studded Clutch

Whenever I have a certain look in mind, more often times than not, Marc Jacobs pull through in the clutch – no pun for sure. The Marc Jacobs Night In Rio Swarovski-Studded Clutch is just the kind of handbag I would love to have in my hand once the New Year’s Eve Ball drops or at any party night. There is a bit of understated elegance about this bag.

Not only does it look gorgeous from afar, but once you hear the details about it, I am sure you could become a fan. This black satin clutch is adorned with Swarovski crystal and gold-tone stud embellishments. I am a huge fan of the way the embellishments come together on this bag: structured yet elegant. While I could do without the gold-tone padlock at the front, it actually adds a bit of dimension and weight to the bag.

Marc Jacobs Love Bird Leather Tote

This Marc Jacobs Love Bird Leather Tote is a bright and cheery tote that will add quite a bit of color to just about any outfit you might want to pair it with.

Marc Jacobs has partnered fluorescent pink, fluorescent yellow and black on this hand-painted leather tote. The two black leather top handles have the slightest hints of gold-tone stud detailing. I was really impressed with the gold-tone studs down each side of this large tote. It’s not often that you see bags with this kind of detailing, so I love it.

This is the kind of bag I would love to use as my carry-on during travel days. I could fit everything in it, including my laptop and still look really fashionable. I have seen enough boring black carry-on bags at airports and the colors on this bag are enough to boost the spirits of those in just about any security line. The bag is finished off with a designer-stamped padlock which is a nice addition, but it doesn’t make or break the bag. Buy through
