Gucci For UNICEF

The annual Gucci Campaign to Benefit UNICEF has always supported the carry out of humanitarian work in Africa with keen effort to provide children and orphans affected by HIV / AIDS with education, medical care and clean water. During it’s five-year’s active campaign, Gucci has donated almost seven million dollars to UNICEF. The impressive figure is a proof of the brand to continue supporting this charity act, and Gucci has thus become one of the largest contributors to “School for Africa” Project of UNICEF.

The “School for Africa” Project works towards providing vulnerable children, including girls, orphans and sick children with quality basic education. In the past, the money donated by Gucci was mainly used to help Malawi and Mozambique. Now Gucci has extended their goodwill to South Africa, and providing benefits to near 2.3 million orphans from the three countries as a result of HIV / AIDS epidemic there.
